Catalina Island Overnight

Friday, 10/06/23 – Sunday, 10/08/23 (Princesses)

Friday, 5/3/24 – Sunday, 5/5/24 (Guides)

Catalina, with Pendleton, is one of two signature and special events that can only be experienced only with the Pacific Explorers as access to the Emerald Bay camp is limited to special groups. Nestled on a calm and clear bay, his trip provides dad and child opportunities to build memories that will last a lifetime.
The trip begins on a Friday morning, where the “steel canoe” departs the mainland, crossing the broad ocean before landing on the serene beach at Emerald Bay Catalina. Once the boat has been unloaded and each Crew camp has been set up, the fun begins.

Saturday activities include:

  • Archery Range
  • BB Gun Range
  • Crew Hikes
  • Kayaks and Canoes
  • Snorkeling and Swimming

At this two-night trip, dad and child will “glamp” in one of several cabin or platform tent options with tasty meals provided by the camp in the communal mess hall. This weekend includes the Princesses Initiation Ceremony (Fall) and the Guides Graduation Ceremony (Spring).

Cost: included in annual fleet dues.
